Get teachers to help you with something you don't understand

Always hand in homework on time and study for tests.

I was a 2.0 student my entire life until I went to college. There I became a 3.6 student. The way I did it was ask tons of questions in class take notes in class too. I spent all day and all night studying and TAKING NOTES. When the going got tough I would do this until midnight sometimes. I think my dad gave me the best advice: he said, "If you try to get B's, you'll get C's. If you try to get A's, you get B's. The way to get A's is to try to be PERFECT at all times. Do every problem correctly in your homework. If you don't understand a homework assignment, don't just chalk it and move on, take it to the teacher, a friend, your parents, or a tutor. Strive to get 100% on every quiz an test.

THAT is how to exceed a 3.0 GPA.

In the classes that you are getting C's in try to pull for B's by getting a tutor or studying in groups. Sometimes you can not get all A's. I have tried and it used to drive me nuts when I would get a B never mind a C. But, all in all - just figure you are doing great - you are going to school and making goals for your future - good luck - and don't be too hard on yourself! :)

Read. Ask questions in class even if they sound stupid. Study more. Go to teachers for after school help. Ask peers for help. Think about where A's can get you in this world

Girl I'm just like you, I have been searching for this answer for years. But then again I have advanced classes and no matter how hard I study, I manage to get a C or a low B.

I need help too...

Study more. Get a tutor or help from a friend so you can bring up your grades. Talk with your teachers about what you can do to improve your grades. Best wishes.

I'm taking a bachelor degree. This is self-study, no teacher. Works for me; I'm getting As. I'm better at reading than listening.

Your teachers will be able to answer that better than any of us. Ask them. Tell them you want to start making more A's. They should be thrilled to give you lots of guidelines and helpful suggestions.

Study more, make better use of resources, don't give up when you don't understand something, ask your teacher, or a peer that knows.
