Mood swings are common in teenagers. It's just our hormones showing us that we're growing up.

Nenoska's right, I think.

Our moods can change as different types of thoughts go on inside us too. Say we're planning something, and then we think of a new challenge to it...that would change the mood. Then we think some more and a good thing comes to mind...the mood changes again.

Neurochemical changes in the brain affect our moods. this happens due to hormonal swings according to the stimuli that we encounter.
And I believe that lunar thingie also matters as it changes the composition of these chemicals according to its cycle but every one's composition is not the same in the first place and so it won't make the same change in every person.

Just my belief. I respect your belief so you can do the same to mine. Have a great day!

Human mind is closely connected with the surrounding, whether it is humid, cold, happy, sad, and all feelings that our human bodies encounter everywhere we go. Human bodies have receptors towards outer atmosphere which bind and link together with the brain to sense and send reactions towards that recepted feeling. For instance if you're happy and suddenly you're walking in a crowd of sad people, first - the eye sees the sadness and starts sending the message to our brain to react towards this kind of situation. In within split lightning microseconds the brain sends its message in the motor neurons towards the end nerves of our bodies to react to such thing. Result - we'll somehow feel sad because human mind is closely connected with mother nature where the surrounding energy cannot be denied. It influences the body, the mind and spirit. This is health, a whole and a mystery. Hope this helps.
