Do we need another woodstock? Should we hold it at Cindy Sheehan's property? What is it going to take? How can we achieve peace? Lots of questions---only serious contemplations, please. I've know use for the answers of people who don't bother to look inside themselves, only out.

I have family in the service, do you? I am not merely protesting, I am saying, it will take the young, not the old, to do this. It is our young who are dying. WE ARE NOT TAKING CARE OF OUR SOLDIERS OVER THERE, SO DON'T CALL ME UNSUPPORTIVE. No one seems to care about our kids. I've got family who volunteered, so don't lecture me about my patriotism. I've given, believe me.

Keep in mind, we still can't legally kill people based on a hypothetical situation, as in "what they WOULD do"....we can't kill people based on what they say they would do to us...at least not in the America I knew.... think THINK

Look, whether you like it or not, FREEDOM is not free. Uniformed people have made the ultimate sacrifice since the United States became a country. If we had tucked tail and ran during WWl and WW ll, we would have German as our primary language and be goose stepping.
No, war is not a good thing. I served in Viet Nam and the " Peace Movement" caused a lot of people their lives. You see, the North Vietnamese new how to manipulate the media, just like OBL and most of the terror networks. They know what strikes a cord on the home front.
What would your opinion be if say, the terrorist blew up a dirty bomb in say, Los Angeles, Or Chicago, or how about Miami?? Lets say 10,000 people died and another 20,000 exposed to radiation and death would take at least half of them. Would you still be against the war on terror??? What if your parents were in a plane that the terrorists blew out of the sky?? What would your reaction be??/
Young and old need to stop, think and use common sense before they open their mouths and become negative. I helped train a lot of the medics that went to both Desert Storms and my heart goes with them. I served with pride and if I had too, would do it again.
Like I said, all the freedoms we have and you have, speach, religon, to gather, to protest, were bought and paid for in American blood for over 230 years and unless someone finds a secret formulae that causes world peace, more will be spilled on foreign soil.

Well, since Cindy Sheehan and Chavez are bed partners she'd have to make an appointment, seriously , even though she has many screws loose, I still feel for her loss, it made her snap as her ex husband said but still I'd hate to lose a young soldier who chose his fate by volunteering without a knife to his throat and knew what was the worse case scenerio, he died in honor, even though his mother is digging his death through the mud.....God Bless America and All the Soldiers everywhere.....

Andertwinson, they are defending no ones right! If you haven't noticed Bush is gutting the 4th Amendment as I write this!
No they won't rise up! They don't have to serve! If there was a draft it would be much different!
Personally I am tired of body bags coming home daily for the past 3 1/2 years!!

Oh, so you're waiting for the "young people" to rise up to protest?
That is so laughable. The "young people" have more important things to consider. Like how fat they're getting and how big their you knows are...or how tall they are. I look inside myself all the time. I thought only religious conservatives were this judgmental.

As long as there are people out there that are trying to bring down our country. Why should we back down. Did you have any relatives or friends that were involved in any of the terriost acts. I promise you, everyone over knows what they are fighting for. Hunny there will never be peace. Thats just how the world will be from now on.

The republican media machine has worked so well convincing people that you are unpatriotic if you don't support the troops and the war as defined by Bush and company. Today we have a totally different breed of children, and their favorite angst term is "whatever," so just how thoughtful and motivated are they? I don't think very. No if the war caused their computer gaming and music to be disrupted, well, that might motivate a few.

i think your a dirty hippie. so this is what have to say, i dont agree with whats going on, but thats no reason to be lazy and smoke pot all day. maybe if todays music was better id sit in the grass and get high with you, but there is a limit to the amount of emo i can take. back to the original point, your a hippie. peaceful protest does nothing but land your butt in a cell for the day. cut your hair
