Do they still have free websites to download, and trade music? I am new to this aspect, but love music. Old computer is gone, so I lost everything. Everywhere I have found to date, you are charged.

www.limewire.com But there is a lot of viruses so be cautious..And for the record downloading music is illegal if you don't pay.

I use Limewire, BearShare (don't use it, not safe - my SpyBot detected something in it), Ares, Morpheus and BitTorrent. Limewire is the best out of them :)

morpheus or limewire there no diffrence except you could watch videos on morpheus instead of getting sent 2 windows media player

Ares with out a doubt.Limewire is full of spyware and it crashes pc allot

You can download music from CD's that you have purchased and have receipts for.

if you're talking about music that you pay for i'd recomend walmart.com just because they're one of the cheeper ones

in case u didn't already know....it is illegal to download music from licensed and signed artists (which is all music) without paying a sum.

it also works for downloading documents, software, videos, music, and pictures!!
