Many of you Liberals have requested that I not generalize. I am not trying to critisize any one I am really interested to hear what people have to think. So PART 1: What is a liberal view point on our current forign policy on the war in Iraq? and please try to avoid retarded comments like "The war is wrong" I have heard it and it tells me nothing. How would a liberal should he/she be elected next term deal with the issues that are presently at hand in Iraq? P.S. I know my spelling sucks I am an uneducated Con right. Save it for a senceless entry enter only solution here.

well... maybe you should ask these questions separately.. in a non-bias way...

like for example...

"what do liberals think we should do about foreign policy?"

instead of asking for the whole shabam in one big question, where you're starting out by insulting them saying they have no answers...

I will answer your first question... foreign policy... make an attempt to listen to foreign leaders... try to see things through their eyes... work with them and don't go off doing whatever you feel like, unless you're prepared to face the consequences...(I mean Bush nominated bolton (a man who hates the UN) to be ambassador to the UN... why bother... that's a joke of a move that's a slap to everyone in the UN's face...

Great point bolton was a bad choice but who would be better?

You won't agree so I'm probably wasting my time......
Set up a schedule - maybe a year or two long that makes the Iraqi government start taking responsibilty. Pull the troops out of the cities slowly and as safely as possible. At the end you have left, the Iraqis are in charge and it becomes their responsibility to take care of themselves.

If this Liberal were elected tomorrow, here's my plan for Iraq.

#1 dissolve it...Iraq as it was is no more
#2 Create three sovereign states for the Kurds, the Sunnis and the Shiites.
#3 I would unleash holy hell on Sadyr City and blame it on ethnic violence...but Sadyr and his militia would be obliterated in the largest B-52 strike ever conducted.
#4 All US forces would be moved to bases in the Kurdish sector to create a viable democracy with a group of people who are thankful for the gift of democracy. The Kurds in their joy, would then allow us permanent military bases right where we want them.
#5 who cares let the Shiites and the Sunnis waste each other with gleeful abandon. We could even legalize Vegas odds for betting on the chaos.

#6 Not another American soldier dies because of some stupid IED.

Thanks for asking.

well... anyone that has knowledge of foreign affairs and gives a crap about the UN would be better in my opinion... we have tons of diplomats that I'm sure would love the job and would do a great job...

and as far as the war in Iraq... let's set some deadlines (work with the generals to set up something reasonable) to get the job done and get out... everyone needs deadlines, it keeps you focused on the goal at hand....

and if things change, you can always extend the deadlines, that's what congress does best... hahaha... but I'm looking for some goal-oriented problem solving in Iraq... and I don't feel like I'm seeing a lot of it...

if we need to send in more troops to do the job... then do it, and then we can leave...

USA should not be alone facing the problem, and since we don't have allies helping and left to solve the problem, can't imagin anybody, in their right mind wanting the job. So I'm willing to let the conservatives to struggle with the problem they created. Will allow them to redeem themseves.

Iraq? Cut and run!

Taxes? Increase them.

Religion? Suppress it.

Abortion? Who cares its just an unborn baby with no rights!

Gay marriage? Let the church bells ring (of Satan)

Terrorists? Give them the rights of a US citizen and spend our time and money defending them.

Terrorism? Do nothing and it will go away.

Illegal immigration? "crickets"

I stand corrected, liberals do have some answers and solutions, and the more they make them known, the more they fade into irrrelevency!
