Is there something wrong with me???

Question

i am a workaholic and i love what i do, i enjoy it, but when i have to go out with my friends i tend to make excuses because i feel guilty, whats wrong with me??

You are one of the lucky ones.......Not many people like the work they do. Work is a way of surviving because we need money to survive but very rarely do people enjoy the work they are forced to do and really look forward to the time away from work. Therefore it is hard for them to understand your feelings about work. My husband is a workaholic also and I love him to bits. There is nothing wrong with you. If you are happy with your work and they don't understand it then that is a problem they need to learn to handle. After all the problem is really theirs not yours. Keep being happy, there are not many as lucky as you so find compasion for those that do not share your enthusiasm.

Is there something wrong with you? Well probably--but beats me as to what it is--certainly don't see a problem from what you've told about yourself so far. Do you mean you make excuses to your friends for working too hard or much? That might be a teeny weeny flaw you might want to work on. On the other hand, it's nice to have something to be concerned about and if that suffices, that's great.

that doesnt make her wierd but just try hanging out with ur friends a little more it could help u get out of being a workaholic and u could have a little more funn

you are introverted. You are also dedicated to your job and would probably rather work than go out since working probably gives you more satisfaction than going out. I am that way too.
