I feel great trepidation for our childrens children and beyond. So I feel we must elect someone who has the tenacity and foresight to see what is going to happen in the UK in the not too distance future. Some one who will not sell us down the line.
However, do you think that I am on the wrong track here and think that it is enivitable that the UK has to be integrated into EU and lose it's identity completely and become one big family within Europe.
My question would be why? We are unique as are the Spanish, the french and every other country. Could you see these countires wanting to lose their identity? No I doubt it very much. So come on lets us make a stand for the rights of the UK. It's not in our nature to be trodden underground

I used Cornish as an example of peoples who like the Irish, Scots, Welsh and English who see themselves as part of this Island but would prefer to keep their own identity.

I'm an American but have some lineage going back to several European countries, including to the truly great Great Britain. I too am concerned about the loss of self determination and control total EU unification will bring not only to England but to the rest of Europe. Already the essential citizens right for security and safety has been compromised by the large influx of significantly culturally distinct immigrants who your children wil some day have to appease and yield some essential birthrights to or even their lives as well. Immediately you have to stop this outside influx so that the damage which is inevitable will be minimized. There lays millions of dormant Trojan horses which now and forever will deploy and hold your country hostage to their wishes indefinitely until this phenomena is stopped. Unification is good but not how currently constructed.

Cornish is not on the same level as Scottish, Welsh and English. You have forgotten the Irish. What's the identify of a country? It's really hard to define. It is changing all the time, even without us joining the EU.

I agree with you in most respects but I also think we are already losing a big part of identity, Although it may appear as slow process in terms of social history it is rapid.
This government has passed more legislation than any other in the same amount of time. Most of it is rushed through without the level of enquiry essential to make sure it is workable.
There has been so much of it by so many different departments that I don't think anyone in any position of authority has taken an overall look to see the impact it has had on the general public.
The major changes have been in the big brother attitude, the tax and fine regime that is designed to extract as much money out of the public as possible with little return on service. The government's dictatorial listen to no-one attitude has infected every petty official from local council to police, parking wardens and civil servants.
There is little to inspire new business and British exporters and constant changes to our education systems and the debt accrued by our educated adults is a recipe for disaster.
Credit to the British people because we survive and flourish (all be it in a limited fashion) in spite of our elected administrators.

I think its Germany basicly want to wipe the UK off the map by creating a super state of all teh EU countries - so the North East of England would become the North Sea Reagon of Europe.
Sooner were out of the EU the better

1400 years ago England was made up of four small kingdoms. It was united by King Athelstan. The country grew further following the arrival of the Normans and the union with Wales then Scotland then Ireland. Now it is growing further with the EU.
Which bit of history do you point you finger at and say 'thats the bit I like'? And does it really matter anyway?

i am in despair at the moment,i am 31 i remember being at school there were about 5 people in my whole high school who were not anglo saxon white and those 5 people did not use expressions as 'init' or 'u get me' its seems to me that even if we stopped immigrants yesterday were going to be over run with them, brits generally wait till there financially secure before having kids but not our immigrants they have kids when ever they feel. its my country ive got a family tree going back hundreds of years but means nothing i can't see any point in bothering protesting its not my country any more,if u say wot all british people think ur branded racist,i work in the imigrant communities and i've come too realise that they don't need to integate coz theres so many of them they can get by with not speaking english. today i had a big row in tesco's in birmingham with a jamaican guy who decided to put 30 odd items through the 10 item till so i challenged him and the abuse started he shouted and swore while his 3 year old child watched i just wonder if this disorder ond chaos thats overcoming this country in our own young people would be happpening if it wasn't for our weak goverment not securing our borders while taking our taxes .

The United Kingdom is a mighty country. Our people are proud to
belong, all four of us (I am a Scot) and we will not allow our country
to be governed into ruins, so do not worry. Rivalry, perhaps in soccer
or any other sporting event. But in times of trouble, our unity is
undisputed.

Our identity is ours, we will keep our uniqueness as the French, Spanish and Italians have kept theirs. I am quite sure of that. The money trick works just as well wether it is administered from London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Truro or Brussels.
Cornwall/Kernow is a Celtic nation it has it`s capital city, Truro and flies the flag of St.Piran.
Unrecognised by the rest of the world maybe, but a nation nonetheless.

You bet that I do, and I mainly blame this Government and all the other assorted lefties in education, TV media, Guardian readers etc. for indoctrinating the public, particularly young people.

You are confused. Ireland, Germany, France and many others are in the EU. And Scotland wants to join as a separate nation. Greece is in so is Italy and Poland. What are you on about little Englander?
