The best time to take the test is in the morning (your first void).
However, the best thing to do to know for sure, is to go to the doctor and have him/her confirm for you. If you don't have a regular doctor, go to Planned Parenthood.
Good luck!

It's a tad bit early, especially if you ovulate later in your cycle. If your period doesnt come within the next few days then try again. My period was due on the 19th the month I found out I was pregnant, I tested a few times and got negatives. Then when I tested on the 24th I got a PREGNANT!!!(and almost hit the floor, good thing I was seated) After my first ultrasound at 9wks we discovered I ovulated around day 21-22 instead of the "normal" cycle day 13-14!

You can't have sex and take a pregnancy test the same day. Wait about 2 weeks or a few days before you're supposed to get your period and the results will be more accurate.

It is best to wait until you have missed a period. There are tests out there that can be used as soon as the first day of your missed period. Use the first morning urine as the pregnancy hormones will be higher at that time and will deliver more accurate results.

Have you missed a period yet? If you have, then you're *probably* okay. I would recommend taking another one in a week or going to the local clinic for a blood test if you're still wondering. Make sure you take the test in the morning, the first time you go to the bathroom. Things have had time to "build up" then.

Yeah pretty much, but the hormone released when you get pregnant HCg gets stronger the longer you're pregnant. Most at home tests aren't very sensitive. A blood test is the best.
