I'm not sure if there's any federal mandatory sentencing that would guarantee that all such offenders would have legal restrictions preventing them from being around children.

If you're concerned about a particular sexual offender, then the place to start would be to research the sentence that individual received following their prior arrest.

No. Not even if they are your kin. Sex offenders will suffer for many, many years, because they did not make good decisions, and sexually abused a child. With all the loose women and old bags in this world, why on earth would any man pick on a child?

Defenetly not...I live near a sex offender. He had 2 rape charges, and 1 abduction in 1986. Man, i cant even go running down my road anymore without someone with me. Im only 16, and Im afraid now. He's been living near me sense i was born, but i just found out 2 years ago. creepy huh?

it might be legal, it depends on the conditions of parole. how long ago was the conviction? when did the perpertator complete his sentence? which country/state? you really didnt give enough info for an informed response.

no and why would u want them near a kid anyway? being convicted for sexual anything is bad
