Give it time babies have a time schedule of there own as your probably finding out. Your 4 month old will roll over when the time is right.

At 4 months, baby holds head up without support, coos and smiles in response to people an eyes follow you around the room.

At 5 months, birth weight may be doubled, turns from side to side and holds up arms to be lifted, reaches for objects and tries to put them in mouth and shows likes and dislikes for certain foods.

So don't worry, roll over happens on the 5th month.

Every baby is unique and does things at their own time. Sometimes larger or chubby babies don't roll over or crawl.

A way to encourage your baby to roll over is to put a toy in a position for your baby to roll over to it. Try rolling the baby part of the way. Sooner or later they get it themselves.

I agree with everyone else, don't stress about it, it'll happen when your baby is ready. My daughter did a sort of half roll when she saw the cat walk by for the first time about two weeks ago, and she's almost 5 months old.

my baby girl didn't roll over until she was about 6 months old. I thought she was a lazy baby, lol. but this is what i did and probably you can try it.

Put your baby on her stomach and do the same right in front of her... face to face.. talk to her and move your head to one side she will follow your face and will try to do the same eventually she will be on her back...... when that happens tell her she did a great job... keep laughing and put her back on her stomach and do it again... she will take it as a game and eventually she will do it just for fun

Don't worry about it. My son didn't roll over until almost 6 mo's and even then it was from back to front. (Most babies roll from front to back first). He also didn't start crawling until almost 9 mo's and by then he could pull himself up. Every baby's different, they're up and around getting into things soon enough!

normally around then but remember all babies are different ,they will do things in their own time, he may be late doing one thing but early to learn another,, don`t worry,, once they start moving its then that it can be worrying!!! even if he isn`t rolling now don`t take it for granted and leave him somewhere unsafe as a baby can easily fall..

I wouldn't worry at 4 months. Babies develop at different times. If he or she is still not rollong over at 6 months, talk to your pediatrician.

All babies are different. You can't go by what other babies are doing at the same age. They will do things in their own time.

Be patient. Try some tummy time every day, and casually roll your child one way and then the other, then let him play.
