Yes, it is called low rent or income based. You would need to call the apartment complexes around town to find out which ones offer that kind of help. I live in a 2 bedroom income based apartment now. I'm a single mom and full time student I actually do not pay a single dollar for my rent, but my only income is child support and that is very small.

Yeah, it's called section 8, but the waiting list is currently closed. There are so many people on it. Some at the end of the list are given an approximate wait time of 15 years. I say, go to college, get a degree and get somewhere to live.

Yeah! They give it to my husband and I because he joined the military. Not a bad deal... not a GREAT deal either, considering the possible loss of life issue.
