One evening several friends went out to a local Chinese restaurant for a celebratory meal. Half way through the meal one of the party suddenly started to cough and choke. Thoroughly alarmed they rushed her to hospital and she had to undergo minor surgery to remove a small bone stuck in her throat.
The surgeon who removed the bone was somewhat perplexed as he did not recognise the type of bone found. He therefore sent it off for analysis and the report came back saying that it was a rat bone.
The public health department immediately visited the restaurant to inspect the kitchens and in the fridge they found numerous tins of cat food, half an Alsatian dog and several rats all waiting to be served up.

There are places in China the place they cook dinner rats. even though it extremely is a area of workmanship so i do no longer think of that they had lie approximately it. there's a chinese language saying that if it flies and it extremely isn't any longer a plan, and if it has legs and it extremely isn't any longer a table, then you definately can consume it. Muhammad inspired human beings to drink camel urine (Bukhrai a million:4:234). no longer all chinese language consume rats, no longer all muslims drink camel urine. Fearing they're going to provide you rats is rather like fearing a muslim provides you with camel urine.

No, they do not cook rats. However, they do eat dog. That is a specialty, and they don't just cook dogs that are on the street. They raise the dogs they eat just like American's raise the cattle for beef. They also have scorpions on a stick, and a few other weird delacies.

Yes, but you have to order them off the "secret" menu. Just ask for "Rat on a Stick" and most traditional Chinese restaurants will gladly oblige.

Not only rats! Cats, dogs, spiders, and even lizards are in the menu as well! Didn't you know? That's why you always find some weird pieces of white (with pink edges) meat and neighborhoods around chinese restaurants never have rodents around, hahahaha. ;-)

Some might, anything is possible. I have never seen it though- only cats and dogs. But that's usually the Korean resturants, not Chinese.

In china. where people sometimes look for it at a delicacy...
In the US, that would totally be stupid. A person would spend a lot of time catching, cleaning, and crap, just to play a prank that would ruin them.
