Yes, shaky legs are common. I had emergency c section with my second delivery...Also the tingling, almost like an elctric shock at times, feeling that you get over the incision lessened but didn't go away completely for nearly three years. I did breast feed and strongly urge all new mothers, no matter what the dilivery do so... Just take it easy and don't dwell too much on the operation part. Concentrate more on the beautiful bundle of joy that came out of it. Enjoy the moment because it ends all too quickly.... The suffering and effort is worth it in the end.

I had 2-c sections and I have never experience that. and I know what you mean ..like the inside of your leg is trembling but not the outside. I would have it checked by a doctor, because on my !st c-section they gave me a spinal and the headaches were horrible. They though that they would have to go back in and remove fluid from my spine. So check yourself because they gave a epidural and a spinal and maybe that caused adverse reaction on your body.. Congrats on the baby, now is time to take care of you, so that you can be there for your child.

Sorry to hear that!!! I had an emergrncy c-section 4 years ago and a planned c-section a few months ago both times using spinal . I think you need to talk to your OBGYN about this and also to the anestesiologist who administered the epidural and spinal. Maybe it's a common side effect and there is a treatment for it. Or, maybe it's something you will feel for a short time and goes away....good luck!!

I never had that after my c-section. If you are concerned, call your dr.
Did you go through labour and pushing before you had the c-section? if you did it may be from that, I remember shaky trmebly feeling legs after my two normal births ( I think it was in the first few days though, I had no epidural with those births)

You need to call your Dr. right away shaky legs can be a sign of many things and it could be a sign of nothing better to be on the safe side and have it checked out get blood work run etc...
C-Section is major surgery and with major surgery complications do occur most are easily treatable if caught early...

It might be after-effects from the Epidural. If it is not better by next week call your doctor.

I had both my babies by c-section and I don't remember that happening to me. I had the spinial both times. You may want to talk to your doctor. Better to ask and know it is nothing than to not ask and it be serious.
But, my husband, (the RN) says that could be restless leg syndrome. Different things cause it.
