As a queer woman I can understand. Sometimes I think it would be easier if I was just outright lesbian. I sometimes feel like I'm not entirely part of the lesbian community because I still like certain men.

I've never felt caught, I'm perfectly comfortable in the middle, especially with a man on one side and a woman on the other. Being bi is hard because neither the gays or the straights can bear to acknowledge that we exist. While proudly, and loudly, proclaiming that others should accept and respect their lifestyle, they then turn around and claim no-one should accept or respect ours. Am I the only one who sees this double standard as self-contradiction, if not outright hypocrisy? In answer to them I can only cite a French philosopher: "I did not choose to be who, or what, I am, but since it is me, I will neither deny nor apologize for it."

I've been bisexual all my sexual life. I'm equality attracted to the same physical type of person no matter if they are female or male. I've had long term relationships with both, including a marriage to a man that I had children with.

Personally I have come to the conclusion that I have HORRIBLE taste in men, it seems I do better with women and my life partner is a woman. Also bisexual.

I'm not a lesbian, I'm not heterosexual. The fact that I am also a sexual Sadist (CONSENSUAL), doesn't help the feelings of not having anything in common with the general population.

I do believe that we are all naturally bisexual and for most people, society and culture, dictates what direction we lean.

If it's so hard - why don't you just make a decision? I'm gay and I must say if there's one thing I steer away from, it's a bi woman. It's like being vegetarian and carnivour at the same time - I don't get it.

While I'm one of "those people" who think Bi's are simply still confused and are either heterosexual -or- homosexual, I sympathize with your feeling of being caught in the middle.
Sexuality is such an important issue in today's culture; I can see how it would be so hard to be pulled two different ways...
I wish there were more ways to help people feeling like you do out. Best of luck and blessings to you.

I keep hearing that. I wonder when everyone's going to hear about Kinsey. He found that 11 percent of men between 20 and 35 were bisexual. Were they confused? Maybe they just didn't give a damn!

Yeah, I kind of agree with that, but being bi is the best because we have the widest possible options. ;)

I LOVE loving men and women. The selection is so great! But, the whole gay-basher thing is hard.
