No one will ever know, exept for a select few, because the only thing you will ever hear about is the "Big Brother" wants you to. Horrible things have happened at both. The way I look at it though is this: If those people in ther really have information about a 9/11 style attack and won't give it up, their rights are secondary to the rights of thousands, so if the government uses harsh treatment there, I see nothing wrong with it. (If someone had information regarding the safety of someone you love, would you only ask politely, and then give up?!)

They aren't horrible. Horrible is what Saddam did in his prisons. Horrible is the slow beheadings of Americans. The animals in Guantanamo are well fed, have religion, have lawyers, and have rights thanks to the liberal idiots on the Supreme court. They regularly throw feces and urine on and assault the guards. They are enemy combatants - they deserve none of the Geneva Convention protections, yet the liberal idiots are giving it to them anyway. Wake up America, for Gods sake wake up!!

Abu Ghraib is worse than Gitmo because of the horrific treatment of the the prisoners there by U.S. soldiers, as documented in released photos!

People like you are unbelieveably naive. We aren't talking about petty crooks here...these are twisted people who actively worked to destroy our country. What's more, they may very well have information on other projects in the works to attack our assets. If they are INCONVENIENCED by foods they don't like or loud noises keeping them awake or wearing women's clothing on their heads, etc. Well, boo-f*cking-hoo. When we start chopping off their heads and showing it on TV, then we'll talk.
Don't know about you, but if someone is planning attack on my family, I'm going to go after them before they come after me.
