No, because your body needs fuel, not just vitamins and minerals. By fuel I mean carbohydrates. You also need protein, fiber, and a host of vitamins and minerals that won't absorb into your bloodstream well unless there's food in your stomach.

Technically you can survive for 40 days with water alone, however I wouldn't try it because after 14 day you would be in a sorry state going blind and suffering soon after complete organ failure. Vits would not make any difference. You can however live off the land quite successfully if you know what to look for and how to find it. The body needs protein more than any other nutrient and if you spend any time out in the wild for good health you will need to secure yourself a good supply.

Throw the vitamins away. you can survive on water alone for a few weeks. Not a diet I would recommend; but you can survive. Go to Yahoo ans search survival information. There is a small survival book you can carry in a back pack that will show you how to trap, build fires, build shelter, etc. Instead of vitamins, pack nuts and dried fruit.

No they would not be enough but they would help you survive for awhile. When you are lost in the woods you need energy and the best source of energy are carbohydrates.
For survival remember the rule of three. The human body can survive 3 minutes without air, 3 days without water and 3 weeks without food.

I lived off WATER for three weeks. I felt OK the whole time, I wanted to eat but I was "fighting the power".... but they had some POWERFUL PAINFUL SYRINGE and they "broke me then very easilly"....
I should have never been interfered with in the way they messed with me.

I don't think multivitamins have carbs, starch or fat (maybe protein too). You wouldn't survive.
