OK, first of all, when you get there, mention it at the hotel check in. (Pop Century is awesome! I stayed there last year. This year I went to All-Star Movies, it was ok, but Pop was better)

Back to your daughter! As soon as you enter any of the parks go to guest relations. (these are all near the entrance) Take your daughter with you and tell them it is her birthday, or you are there to celebrate her birthday. They will give her a large button. Make sure she wears it. You will find she will often get noticed and get "special treatment". Also, you can ask at hotel check-in for suggestions to help make her stay special and they will gladly help.

Mention it at all the restaurants you go to, also.

She will have a great time. I just got back last night after a one week stay with some friends and family. My advice is to just take your time in the parks and enjoy yourself. Too often people let themselves get stressed for whatever reason and you see them get mad at their children or spouses. This isn't what Walt Disney had in mind! If money is tight, try sharing meals. If time is short, take a couple of extra minutes when you enter the park to review a park map and plan a stragedy of what you want to see and do. (be flexible though as you might come across a show or demonstration that you would enjoy)

Have a great time, and feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. I might be able to help.

And tell your little princess, "Happy Birthday!!!"

I just read the answer before mine, you don't buy a button, go to Guest Relations!

Well, "happy birthday" to your daughter when it's time. My birthday's in December, too, on the 3rd. I wish I could go to Walt Disney World for my birthday! There's a few things that I think she'd really enjoy.

1. Have a birthday meal at Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I've read in reviews that they'll decorate your table with confetti and streamers, and there'll be a birthday card waiting. Of course, you'll have to let them know in advance that you'll be celebrating your daugher's birthday.

2. Go to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Downtown Disney for a Princess makeover. Your daughter can pick out her favorite Princess' outfit, and the "Fairy Godmothers-in-training" will do her hair, nails, and make-up, and then they'll take photos.

3. Attend "My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party" at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Adults are served tea while the children are served juices. There's food and Princess cake. Princess Aurora from "Sleeping Beauty" comes out and spends time with each of the little girls, and Rose Petal, the hostess entertains with songs and stories. Each little girl receives a "My Disney Girl" collectable doll with accessories, a tiara, a Princess link bracelet, a Princess scrapbook page, and a "Best Friend" certificate.

4. Have dinner at Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at the Polynesian Resort. They serve an all-you-care-to-eat dinner, drinks and everything included. The show itself is great and children especially love it. At one point they call all the children up on stage to teach them a luau dance, and at another point they sing for everyone who's celebrating a birthday.

Here's a great website! This particular page has all kinds of suggestions for birthdays at Walt Disney World, as well as tips and information on birthday cakes.

Of course, at Walt Disney World, you can't not have a magical time. No matter what you do or how much money you spend, you'll find something to do that will make her birthday very special. I hope you have a wonderful time (I know you will.) And I hope this upcoming year goes much better for your daughter. "Happy birthday" to her again, she'll have an amazing time!

You can call and set up a party type deal, or if your on a budget like most people including my self, you can make a dinning reservation where her favorite characters will be, let the hostess/greeter know it is her special day and they will help by probably singing to her, getting her a desert and special pictures. Also here's a Little trick, you can do this everywhere, not just one place and on her b-day, you can celebrate the whole week, that's what we did, every where we went for my mom and dads anniversary for the whole week us kids ( well were 21,24 and 29) would say it was there anniversary and they would do just a little something extra to make them feel special!! Also you can buy buttons that say its my birthday or get her a Disney b-day shirt to wear when you get there, most shops will have something!!!

A meal with the princesses at Cinderellas Table. Call Disney Dining to reserve. If you can't get a reservation there then just get a Character Meal with her favorite characters. The Disney Dining people will help you.

Well what does she like? If she is very girly and loves Princess stuff, then plan to go to Magic Kingdom that day. If she is more of a tomboy and loves adventure, visit Animal Kingdom. Whichever park you visit, be sure to stop by guest relations near the entrance and tell them that you have a daughter with a birthday. They have a button that says something like "It's my birthday!" that she can wear all day. This will often give you guys extra special attention all by itself. Wherever you dine that day, be sure to tell your server in secret. They may be able to sing to her or have a character come over.

tell your spouse...you prefer to be incharge of your sons social gathering this 12 months. start up cleansing the abode, and making plans the social gathering. you are able to desire to do pizza or a great sub, have snacks and a cake. yet 40 little ones in an house OR a house...OMG! it is something i could in no way...ever do, until it may desire to be outdoors. What could they do to maintain busy interior your house? A pool social gathering could be relaxing! they are to old for McD's or burger king. bowling..aaahhh, it is to many little ones, waiting for there turn..9yo boys tend to get antsy and could desire to be lively. could desire to you have much less little ones..perhaps 10 of his close pals? you do no longer could desire to invite all people he's conscious. 10 little ones at a house social gathering is accessible...40...it extremely is quite helpful to bypass the cleansing.

oh my goodness,
my dad and i always used to go to disney when my parents were getting divorced. we had annual passes and went every weekend. i love it.
i was around 8/10 when we started going there.
my favorites around that age was epcot and then slowly became MGM.
although, i think that if i Animal Kingdom had opened about 5 years earlier...i would have LOVED it. they have a great dinosaur ride. i love it now and i'm 20.

it all really depends on her personality.

to do something special---see if one of her favorite bands is playing at the HOUSE OF BLUES or HARD ROCK CAFE when you will be there---and buy tickets for her to see them. (my dad did this for me and just stood in the back where i was in eyeshot).

i would really love to help you make this a good birthday not only for your daughter, but for you as a parent---
if you want more info--just e-mail me.

Go to downtown disney!

Here you can go to cirque de soleil then walk over to rainforest cafe to eat. And there are all kinds of cool things to do there like dancing and sing alongs for the kids, there is a movie theatre there, there are also cool stores lie the lego store and they have all kinds of amazing statues made of legos outside. There is also lots of candy stores and a ghiradelli chocolate ice cream stand. The best part it is FREE...except to eat and the cirque de soleil of course! It is just an amazing atmosphere! Even if u dont go eat or see the show just to walk downtown disney it is amazing! and FREE haha!
The rainforest cafe is like being in a jungle if u dont eat there at least go in and check it out its awesome...there is a thunderstorm in there every 30mins

Have fun... I go their twice a year!

In Fantasyland. I loved going there for my birthdays when I was growing up and lived near Anaheim. If she is a tomboy, then take her to lunch or dinner at the Blue Bayou restaurant, inside Pirates of the Carribean. It will be memorable.

Have fun!
