Highway to Heaven
song

Well, the first time ever I saw you,
You were sleeping as the night fell, fell upon us
My soul felt something like a mighty wind,
Voice like muddy waters
A
Surprise attack on my heart
Oh it freed my soul, oh it made me whole.

Well, it's a high, long way to Heaven
Well, nothing can go up there, but the pure-hearted.
They say it's a highway to Heaven
Nothing can go up there, but the pure-hearted.

Well, the name would imply that one end of it is at Heaven, so all you need to do is go there, and travel back by the highway. And don't forget to send a postcard.

This question is probably meant as sarcastic, but I'm going to answer you as if you meant it sincerely.

The highway to heaven is through believing in Jesus Christ. He is the son of God who was sent down to earth in a human form to teach us through his example, and then he died on the cross as a sacrifice so that our souls could be saved through grace.

It's hard for our brains to comprehend a God who knows every person on this earth intimately. He knows our every thought and every action, and he loves us. We are his children. When he created us, he wanted us to have "free will" so that we could choose to love him instead of being forced to.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, and who so ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life

Most people don't think ahead to the moment when we will all die someday, but we all will. Don't you want to know what to expect? There is a heaven and there is a hell. And you are given free will while you are here on which way you want to go. It's your choice.

In order to be saved, you don't have to be perfect and you don't have to do good acts. All you have to do is believe with all your heart that Jesus is the savior and God's Son and ask that he have mercy on you and forgive you of your sins.

This transformation can't take place just because I tell you about him. You need to learn about him for yourself. Open a Bible or go to a church. Seek and you shall find.

Once you have accepted Jesus into your life, you will find his spirit is more tangible. I can literally feel his presence in my life sometimes........most of the time it's when I need him the most, and I can feel his loving arms guiding me and helping me.

I hope I've answered your question, but this is just the starting point. I've done my duty as a follower of Christ to show you the way......now, it is up to you to follow the road.

Being a christian is not always an easy life and people might make fun of you for being one.........but to have eternity in heaven is worth it.

God Bless you, and I hope you find the highway to heaven.
Sincerely,
Robin in Tennessee
