I am recently married. Going to the dmv to change my name on my drivers license. Do I have to only use my new last name or can I go back and forth?

you may either not change it at all, you are not required to change your last name. or you can change it.

But once you change it, it is changed and you would have to go back to court to get it changed again

IVE BEEN MARRIED FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS AND MY LISCENSE SAYS MY MAIDEN NAME AND MY SS CARD ADN MILITARY ID SAY MY MARRIED AND I USE BOTH. IT NOT FRAUD BECAUSE IT WILL SHOW ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT BOTH WAYS SO NO MATTER WHAT AS LONG AS THE SS OFFICE IS AWARE OF YOUR NAME CHANGE ITLL BE OK. WELL DONT GO GETTING JOBS UNDER BOTH NAMES AND THINGS BUT I HAVE THINGS FINANCE FROM BEFORE AND SOON AFTER WE MARRIED THAT I NEVER CHANGED MY NAME ON. TOO MUCH TROUBLE SENDING THEM MARRIAGE LISCENSES AND THINGS. BUT IF YOU USE BOTH JUST MAKE SURE THE SS OFFICE AND ALL 3 CREDIT BUREAUS KNOW ABOUT IT.

You have to pick one name and then change your drivers license and social security card.

Pick one name and stick to it. Less confusion.
