After one stops taking birth control pills sometimes it takes a long time even a year before one gets their period and it is because your system has to get all that medecine out of your body to get stabalize again. Although, you should ask your doctor for more info.

The best answer is to see you gyn very soon.
My gyn would always tell me to be on the pill for 9 months and off for 3... the reason - it would take 3 months to clean out my system of the medication...
I don't think you are having anything out of the norm, but you are asking which means it's on your mind - and in that case, please see a doctor to ease that mind.

Possibly... I went 6 months without one after I got off the pill, but I have PCOS. It depends on your medical conditon(s) and how long you were on the pill. Contact your gyno if you're concerned.

How long had you taken them for? If you have taken them for years, it could take a while to get them back, and could take longer than a year for you to gt pregnant, if that is what you are hoping to do.
