Since storms are coming in quickly, getting help quick may be an issue, plus it's late in the afternoon. What should we do?

Temporary solution for roof leaks is a tarp. In your case is not an easy solution due to lack of time. If leaking is due to water pipe or drain, shut off water valves and call a plumber to inspect

It the shower is causing the leak the pending storms are not going to make the situation worse. If you can turn the water supply off to the show do that. If you can only cut off the water supply to the entire house you may have to do that and turn it on when you need to use it until you get the leak fixed.

Get a plumber, sounds like a pipe leaking. The plumber will have to cut through the wall on the opposite side of the shower room to get to the pipe. Plumbers don't fix walls, then you will have to hire someone to repair the wall, and do you're ceiling while he's at it. Sorry to hear about the leak.

stop worring about the storm if the leak only occurs when using the shower. this means it is not related to roof issues which would be a storm concern. let the storm pass and in the meantime contact a good plumber. ask and ck references

If in doubt, shut off your shower at its valve, or at the main water line if it doesn't have an individual valve. Unless your roof is the problem, the storms shouldn't have an effect.
