my brother just got a speeding ticket yesterday for going 55 over the limit! he is 18 and still lives at his parents (who can't pay the ticket), can't keep a job because he is too lazy, he has/maybe had a chance at going to college as a baseball pitcher, but he keeps f*cking it up? i think he has one day left if that of missing school before he is kicked out!
Should i beat his *** up?

he live with my dad and my step mom(his mother he is my step bro actually, he treats her like ****, my dad has came close to whooping him for disrepect, but he doesn't want to mess things up in the family a he is his stepdad and that would worsen things
BTW i am the good looking one, he can just pitch fast. i am taller, have a rock hard sixpack and my face is alot more attractive (not saying much, sorry but its the truth)

you don't understand, It is a felony to go over the speed limit that fast, i can't say that i have never done dumb things that make what he does look mild, but i never was caught or if i was just warned, but no convictions at all! i'm slick and he tries to be a bad *** or somethin but he sucks at it! he should stick to baseball...

i grew up in a different home with my single mother, and my life was alot harder then his growing up.
I have watched my dad and his family give him all they got for his love of baseball, but he resents them for no good reason, his family is the normal, mine was living, paycheck to paycheck, hoping for childsupport!
He thinks he's gangsta, but he is a white guy that lives in a cowboy town! he is a f*cking pussy! should i seriously show him that?

So? My brother left school at 16, he stilll lives with our mum, he crashed his motorbike twice cos he was going too fast, hes a drug addict, he gets pissed every night, shags anything with a pulse, has had 6 jobs in the last 2 months and has been arrested twice for assault and three times for being drunk and disorderly.
You think yours is bad! People from common families like mine are truly bad.

I wouldn't worry about your brother, one thing I have learned in life is you can't change other people. He will have to pay for his own mistakes, just remember he is a good example of what not to do. I have a couple of half sisters that are totally messed up, it took me a long time to figure it out, if I wouldn't pick them to be my friends then there is no need to even be around them, so I cut the ties and life is so pleasant without them in it.

No, don't bother to beat him up. For one thing, he could file assault charges. For another - well, no matter how satisfying it might feel, beating people up rarely solves problems.
Hopefully your parents and others will let your brother start dealing with the consequences of his actions instead of bailing him out, so he'll shape up. And if that happens, well, life will do a very nice job of beating him up all by itself.
The situation stinks, I know. Good luck.

You can try to talk to him, but if he is an 18 year old boy and I do say boy, you would most likely be wasting your breath. Obviously your parents are not able to sort his behaviour out. And if he doesnt listen to you, then you have tried. He is ultimately responsible for his own destiny and you can just be there to pick up the pieces afterwards.

No, don't beat him up. Just yell at him and tell him to get the **** out of his **** parents house. That's sad. Discipline him. Tell him that he will probably grow up to be homeless when he is older if he doesn't leave; for example. Good luck and this is a situation for Dr. Phil.

Relatives always need a beating. But this sounds like he needs a lesson. He needs a life crisis to straighten out.

I don't know that an a** beating is going to set him straight, what may actually work is your parents kicking his lazy butt out, they are enabling him, and he has no desire to aspire to do anything but behave like a loser, because he has no reason to.

Sounds like he needs a good wake up call. Go ahead, beat his ***. Maybe it will help.
