. . . I heard a whisper that Richard Hammond automatically pulled his jet car off the runway when he saw an empty parking bay . . .

I certainly do !!! I have been to see a friend in St.Peter's Hospital Chertsey tonight and the smallest option was 2 hrs stay for £2. That doesn't even go to the Hospital. Frimley Park Hospital is almost as bad. BUT if you go for let's say, an appointment which lasts longer than 3 hrs. you are able to get the ticket signed by staff and on your return to the car park, the attendant will waver all charges. I use the same system when driving as a Volunteer driver to either Hospital.

I object to paying for parking if I can park at a supermarket for two hours for free I will.
Motorists are robbed left right and centre and we just put up with it. For many people driving a necessity and Local Authorities are taking advantage of the situation and making millions by issuing erroneous parking fines. Since the loss of our manufacturing industries all this country seems to do is make money from inflicting misery on car drivers by speed cameras and parking fines. I by the way have, touch wood, never received a parking ticket nor a speeding fine but listen regularly to Talk Radio and their listeners who phone in about the unacceptable behaviour of Local Authorities and their agents etc.
Not sure about the anti social aspect of you question or what you are actually getting at.

I object to car parking fees in hospital car parks, people may want to visit sick friends/relatives and they are being charged to do so? That is just wrong. And yes I do think car parking fees are extortionate it shouldn't cost the earth to park your vehicle but I pay the fees nonetheless because I have no choice if I have to park somewhere. I often travel by train anyway so it's not that bad.

Oh my God, I HATE IT! Are we talking daily fees or like parking garage fees for events and such? Because I am talking about the latter. I think if you are paying for an event (that is usually overpriced and refreshments are also usually exorbitant), then parking should be free. I am trying to park my car and come to this outing and am getting reamed before I even get out of the car! I absolutely aand totally hate it and wish it would be done away with. I know better though.
Daily parking for working like in a downtown area is justified, I think. I would need to know more about it though, like what the prices are on average, to make a better decision on that though.

If you are talking about normal car parks then I don't mind paying. I don't think it is right that you should pay for hospital car parks, especially when the prices are extortionate. There are too many people who have to go on a regular basis and ii is not right you have to pay every time. It costs just over a pound an hour and this is just not right.

I agree with Miss B.. I don't mind paying to park any where else.. But I HATE paying to park at a hospital. (Like in emergency situations). Slap me with a $600 bill for the emergeny.. Oh by the way.. That'll be $8 for parking.. That's just wrong!

Car parking fees can get costly and when going to the game at the stadium it takes a chunk out of our wallets. It wouldn't be so bad if we thought our vehicle was protected.

If the penalty grew to become into for sure published, then of direction no longer! you're fortunate you weren't towed, then fee the £a hundred PLUS towing expenses! Parking & dashing outcomes are a hundred% avoidable; you chosen to go through the penalty by making use of leaving your automobile there too long!
