1. Get rid of the DH. Make the game the same in both leagues.
2. Keep the all star game a showcase event. Don't put the burden of home advantage in the world series on what should be a fun game for the fans.
3. Owners need to reduce the price of tickets though out the league. Make it affordable for families to go to a few games a year.

One other item that I think is important. The team with the best record gets home field advantage in the world series.

1. In college baseball, they do NOT allow the batter to step out of the batter's box between every pitch, and the pitcher is on a "shot clock" type system. The game is much faster because of this. Implement this in MLB immediately.

2. Do not allow coaches/managers/catchers to visit the pitcher's mound endlessly. It's nothing but a stalling tactic which causes the final 2-3 innings of games drag on and on. Allow a team one non-pitcher-change mound visit ("free trip") per game, with maybe a second added if it goes to extra innings. After that, you can only visit the mound when you change pitchers. If a mound visit is necessary after the alloted number of available free trips is used up, the batter at the plate automatically walks.

3. Mandate that all MLB parks must sell cokes and waters for $2 each. Or at least allow each fan to bring one sealed plastic bottle beverage with them. The idea that they can't allow this for "security reasons" is baloney. It's profiteering, plain and simple. Drinking two non-alcohol beverages at a ball game should not set you back $12.

1. No more DH. This makes for more strategy

2. More day games. Baseball was made for the daytime.

3. No more endless Yankees/Red Sox hype. Give every team their due time in the sun.

1. shorter season (change it back to 154 games)
2. 7 game series in all rounds of playoffs (5 games is NOT enough)
3. home field advantage should be 2@home, 2on road, 3@home ( 1 extra home game is not much of an advantage for having the better record after 154 games)

1. Pitch clock! Pitcher will have so many seconds to pitch, or a ball will be added to the count.

2. No DH. We all know that this is the worst idea ever.

3. Salary Cap.
