download the most up to date drivers from the creative web site? Do a windows update and see if there are updates for the audio cards drivers?

Go here:

http://www.creative.com/language.asp?sDestUrl=/support/downloads

Select your country and then your product.

Download the driver setup file for your version of Windows and it should install the drivers for you.

Restart the computer and it should work.
