yes, quite a lot when i was school. but kids were cruel back then. at first i hated my name as a child, but as i got older, i realise its not so bad. particuarly as there are other people from other ethnic backgrounds, particuarly some whites who were also given strange names as children as well.

kind of reminds me of when victoria and david beckham oddly named their kids romeo, cruz and brooklyn. they'll probably get teased too
