Look around for a screw holding it in.Remove the screw and take out the switch and un plug it. If there is no screw holding it in.Use a thin blade Flathead screwdriver and pry it out carefully. Then just un plug it. You failed to say what the switch was for.
electric door lock? For the light that comes on when you open the door? Either way the way I described is how you remove either of them. Or they may be attached with a screw from inside the door panel . To take off the door panel look for any obvious screws going from the panel into the door And remove them.Using a flat blade screw driver wedge screw driver between door panel and door. Once inserted slide it to the right or left till it stops and hits a plastic rivet. Then gently pry outward. You want the screw driver as close to the rivits as possible or you might tear the partical board the rivit is attatched to.. Pry out gently And get all the rivets to pop out of the door around the edges of the doorpanel and then try to pull out on the panel to feel if anything else is still attaching the panel to the door and where the panel won't pull away is how you'll know what else needs to be removed.
GOOD LUCK you should be able to fix this with these instructions hope it helps
