Well, it depends on what you're looking for in a car. They're not a good choice if you want light weight and maximum gas mileage, but are a good choice if you want brutal horsepower. And it depends on what era of muscle car you're looking for - are you talking relatively new, or 1960's?

I am partial to mustangs. Don't know why. Be careful in finding a muscle car with too many upgrades. Just lets you know how hard the car has been driven. Find a stock one, then build it the way you want.
