Dear So and So,

I want to take this time to write on paper, in stone, and on my heart my true feelings. I love you with all my heart and no matter what happens after this letter, nothing can ever, ever change how I truly feel or have felt. I will love you for the rest of my life without any outside interruption. I will cherish you above all other things and people, praise you when you do well and love you when things do not go the way you would like for them to go. I will with the utmost honor and respect that you so rightfully deserve bring you the most beautiful power gifts on a regular basis to continually show my undying devotion to you. I will hold in the highest esteem your undying love, which I know can already move mountains, climb any hill or tunnel any escape. I know these things to be true because I have felt them, seen them, and heard them throughout the past several years and recently have had somehow received the ability to make this connection and write it down in this form.

I believe in you in the face of all opposition; I believe in you even in the face of certain death. I trust your loving and caring voice, a trust that is so certain, black and white, clear as day and more beautiful than the tranquil sounds of the Caribbean Sea. I believe in my love that is stronger right now than the forces of the heavens. I feel like Jupiter can't move if my love is in the way. I believe in your love that rivals that of my only God, Jehova.

So and So, you are as beautiful as the evening sun, you are as delightful as the prancing deer, musical trees, and the smell of alpine under the bright moons that I felt on every journey to the mountains I have ever taken. You are more interesting and intriguing than the library of Congress. You have more resolve than any person I have ever known and if you could number it, it would add up in the trillions. I love you, and, you would make me the happiest man to have ever walked the face of the earth if you would live life with me.

I know there would be work to do; however, with a foundation as strong as this, there isn't anything that could topple us. I believe we have been through it all, went to hell and back again. I didn't think I could write a letter like this, but I did and this time it's real. I don't care if you are high-maintenance; you are worth ever second of it. My heart is full.

Jeff

Jeff,
I feel for you. Sounds like she wanted to cool things off and that you and her have had a few "rough"spots along the way. In my experience, "laying it all on the line"in a "make or break" offer will only allow you to be able to let go of her for good. She is likely going to reject this letter, because, women want someone who is their own man, not someone who will kow-tow to their every wish. I think the impolite term's initials are P-W !! Good luck, though.

It sure does sound like a letter of desperation written by a second party to save a relationship. It sounds like someone is either going or about to go thru a divorce and reality has set in this person and is trying anything and everything to save it. Does it hold merit, personally I doubt it as it sounds like it was written by a love torn teenager than an adult so I would only take it at face value, nothing more because we all know men will lie and say anything to save face, but soon forget what they wrote. If Im wrong, then I apologize, but doubt if I am.

"I don't care if you are high maintenance"

that's horrible. the whole sentiment of the rest of the letter is destroyed with that one line. you spend your whole time telling her how wonderful she is, and then just prior to signing off, you insult her. that will be the section she will focus on.

it sounds like you are trying to win an old argument by sucking up, and then slipping your argument in at the end, surrounded by sugar-coating so she can not fight back because you can say how sweet you have been.

personally, i find this all a bit too extreme and a bit over the top. a simple note that tells a girl that you love her and find her amazing in simple basic form is far more effective for my liking. it seems more genuine when it is just bare emotion.

It's a good letter, but a little much. Sounds like there are unobtainable expectations. Especially when you end it with "I don't care if you are high maintenance". I would be somewhat scared off by such a letter. You sound like a good guy...don't pour it on so thick...doesn't come off right.

that's a really lovely letter spoken from the heart if only more men could say how they really feel
not to sure about the high maintenance bit at the end could be seen as a little dig at her

It kind-of reminds me of scripture in the bible, in>>> Song Of Solomon.
He definently knew how to make emotional & mental love to his woman.
It does also sound like a proposal.

Good question. Most men I know couldn't even get the punctuation right. He's probably broke and can't afford to take you out.
