yup it's very wrong to call 911 if you are lonely.
911 operators have enough to handle and they need to be available for someone that has an emergency.
every city has a crisis line that could help you find an appropriate person to help you.

yes its wrong,your tieing up the phone line's! 911 is for emergencys ONLY! go play bingo if your so lonely. : ] get out their meet people! remember that women that called 911 for help and as the cop was leaveing she said your cute! well about an hour later she called 911 again to ask for his phone number because he was cute! yea she got jail time for it!

Yes, and it is 911 abuse too, which is a punishable offense. They do not have to come out either. Keep in mind you are tying up the police, ambulance or fire truck too, while they could be out doing something important (saving lives, putting out fires.....).

Yep, very wrong and you can and will go to jail for it.
A women did not to long ago for calling 911 to get a cop to come back to her house because he was cute and she wanted to hook up with him he went back and arrested her. So much for hooking up.
