The hardest thing about a throw-in is not taking your feet off the ground and getting a whistle because of it. The trick is to drag your back foot as you are going forward and you'll keep both feet on the ground. Practise will get it far and where you want it. Throwing it high gives the other team time to react.
I coached soccer for a number of years
Good Luck!!!

Well what you want to do is put one foot pretty far infront of the other foot and KEEP YOUR BACK FOOT DOWN no matter what!! Then you take the ball and grasp it in both hands fairly loosely, bring it over your head and throw. If you want it to go high, let the ball go fairly early and if you want it to go far then you throw it a little later. Throw it in the middle and you've got the best of both worlds!âº

Throw it hard with both hands. Release the ball while you arms are still moving up just as they get near the top of your head.

put the ball over your head, one foot forward, lean back and then throw the ball forward, almost but not quite lifting your back foot off the ground, drag it along behind you.
hope it helps!

take a step foward, lean back, use your abdomen, and exert force forward throughout your upper body (starting from you abs up to your arms). hope that helps a bit!
