Sitting in a cafe with my mum and dad, when I was little drinking a fanta in one of the small glass bottles, where you had to take the top off with a can opener, remember those. Fanta really tasted good in those days.

My happiest memory is of meeting my friend Zoe for the first time. We spent the whole day laughing at each other, i'd never met anyone who was on my wave length before.
Sadly she passed away 2 months ago from Cancer. So this is my dearest memory of her.

my happiest memory, is thinking back to when I could spend more time with my best friend michael.
we always had nicknames for each other like "santa" or "Snuggles".
we were always cuddle buddies and we never had any kind of relationship. thats what made it all so sincere.
He moved halfway across the city and I only see him about a month now, but those memories make me happy.

Happy memories - well too many to list. Obvious ones are special occasions with the family - new baby, birthdays, weddings, holidays, exam success etc. etc.
However there are many other's and guess that top of the list is when you are involved helping someone else - in whatever way they need it. When you go ahead and do this you forget all your own troubles and you get such a special feeling it is truly wonderful.

the happiest i've ever been was when i was a little kid and got a brand new bike for christmas, and another little kid that lived about half a mile down the road and his little sister didn't get anything but some fruit from our church.
i rode my bike down to his house to show it off and both of them thought it was swell. when i asked them what they got, they said they got some fruit and was really happy about that. when i got home from their house, my mom asked "what did wallace and betty, get for christmas?" when i told her she didn't say any thing and later i found out she was saddened by the situation.
the next day i went over to wallace's and told him i didn't like my bike and i traded it to him for a football that wasn't even pumped up. i thought my parents would get mad at me for doing what i did and didn't tell them but my mom found out and started crying it was then that i learned they weren't mad, but was happy about what i did. to make a long story short, my dad took the football and pumped it up and wallace and betty had a bike and we all played with the football. that is the happiest i've ever been and wallace and betty and i are still best friends til this very day. wallace is a lawyer. betty is married to a preacher and i am married to a wonderful lady.

Becoming a mom for the first time and sharing all the first moments with my son. Yesterday was his first birthday and he walked for the first time without falling. I caught it all on video along with the fact that he gives the best hugs and kisses and says mama all the time. Thats what makes me happy everyday.

My happiest memory is pretty recent. I got engaged 3 weeks ago.
My boyfriend took me to my favorite Italian restaurant. He was telling me that he hurt himself at work and stood up to show me a scratch he got on his leg. But as he was pulling up one of his pant legs there was no scratch there was a tattoo that said will you marry me? Than he got on one knee asked me and of course I said yes. Everyone in the restaurant stood up and started clapping and the waitresses came out with a piece of tiramisu cake with a candle in it we both blew it out and everyone started clapping again. It was definitely the happiest moment of my life :)
