You always work for yourself. So you try to sell your photos to various outlets. So you must learn how to get your paperwork in row than what to charge and why ppl would buy your work over the current photogs.

i am by no means an expert, but i would guess that you could put together a portfolio of all your best work. include some non-sports pictures, as well as action shots of various sports.

then maybe call up the offices of all the print publications in your area that have sports sections. ask if they have jobs available. if they do, you can send your resume and your portfolio into them and they might give you a job.

that's the only way i can think of. sounds like a hard job to get but good luck!

take some good photos, get in some unique places, get a telephoto lens
