i have a apple snail and some other snail they are always so close to each other and dont do much

Unless you see the male snail stick his penis (yes they really have one) into the other snails shell, then they aren't doing anything.

They may just like that part of the tank. Generally a snail spends 95% of it's time just hanging out.
