Why do I look weird since shaving my eyebrows?

My friend said I would look cool if I shaved my eyebrows. I did. Now I get weird stares from people at the mall. Why?

Because what you and your friends think looks cool may look very strange to the general public. I know because I had a mohawk when I was in high school. But I welcomed the stares and snickers. I shaved my head like that to be different and to make a statement about nonconformity.
If the stares bother you then just wait for your eyebrows to grow back and never do it again, or stand proud with your decision!

Well, you already know why. But my question is, do you do everything your friend suggests? In that case, you're probably lucky all she told you to do was shave your eyebrows! They may grow back, or they may not. So you better learn how to use a mascara pencil to mark in make believe eyebrows. Either that or powder them with gloss or glitter and turn a liability into an asset.
Next time, let your friend go first and you can see if you want to do it too, or let her be the one to look unique and weird.

Because we humans expect other humans to have eyebrows. If you look at the shape of your skull, you can see that they help to outline the shape of your face, and without them, your face is just kinda missing something.

Probably a lot of the people who look at you funny are trying to figure out just what it is that doesn't look right. Another group are probably wondering if you're wearing a wig, because you must be a chemo patient.

Don't worry too much...they'll grow back. I recommend not shaving them anymore, as this can actually cause problems with the way the hairs grow in, and you may end up looking like that permanently, if you're not careful.

The stares might just be in your head. You probably looks weird because you are not used to seeing yourself like that. However...I don't think you should have shaved your eyebrows...natural eyebrows look awesome when you keep them plucked and nicely shaped.

That's so crazy -- and you believed them. People always look better with well groomed eyebrows. It looks silly when women shave off their perfectly good eyebrows and then draw eye pencil for eyebrows. Let them grow back and just have them waxed into the shape that compliments your face.

Oh no you didn't! There's nothing worse than shaved off eyebrows except for them drawn on after. It's awful! You'll have to draw them in until they grow back and then go to a salon and get them fixed! Don't ever ever ever listen to your friend again!!!! ( By the way...tell her she'd look good if she shaved her head!)

If your friend said it was cool to jump off a bridge without a bungee cord, would you do that too???? Let them grow back(and maybe they will grow back normally) and hopefully you learned from this mistake. Unless you have alopecia or are going through chemo treatment, don't mess with the eyebrows anymore.

alright now, since you know it isnt the cool look you thought it would be, why not have some fun with it. since you already look like an weirdo alien, shave your head too, shine it up, and have a good laugh. you could make people feel bad after they stare all crazy at you, tell 'em you just had chemo.
