It is a 2001 Silverado 1500. I just need the instruction to program my keyless remote. I try getting in my car locking the door, inserting the key 6 time or until the hazard light flashing and I could not get it to work. Please help me Thanks

It should be in your owners manual. You don't program the remote itself you actually add the remote frequency to your security system.
Usually with GM you have to sit in the vehicle.
Turn the ignition to run (w/o starting it) than off than to run than off than run again and it should be confirmed visually by the vehicle.
Next remove the radio fuse.
Next using the original remote hold down the Lock and Unlock buttons at the same time until the vehicle confirms it.
