my advice is when the book FINALLY arrives buy it and then wait until the weekend to read it all in one shot tell your friends and family members that you DO NOT want to be disturbed AT ALL and keep to yourself while you read it!! if you are at school and people are trying to tell ya stuff cover your ears and "LA LA LA"out loud (your own voice drowns out outside noise lol) but read it the weekend you get it that way no one can spoil it for ya!!! Oh and STAY AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER therein lies to much temptaion!!!

I would suggest pre-ordering the book, then going to one of the midnight book release parties to get it, then avoid listening to the radio, television, or going online until you're finished reading it. That is what I did when Half-Blood Prince came out and it worked out for me. I know I've chatted with several people that made the mistake of going online before they were finished with it and had major plot information spoiled for them. It will definitely be on the news, so if you don't avoid those sources you're bound to hear spoilers! I even had friends that took a "personal day" off of work to read the book without distractions so they wouldn't have it ruined for them. I'd skip a day of school, if I were you.

Although this is really sad to say I think that it's almost impossible to avoid spoilers!!! in order to do so you would have to stop watching TV, talking to your friends, and going on the Internet! Also I wouldn't stay at home to make sure that no one spoils the book. It's not worth it :) Try to read the book as soon as you can, and tell everyone who's reading the book to keep their mouths shut!

The day before the book comes out, sleep all day. Go to Barnes and Noble, where you can start buying the book at midnight.
Then read it until you are done.
I tried doing that with the last book, but I had a wedding to go to that day. I brought it with me and found a quiet corner where I read for 2 hours.

I've already read the 1st 6 books, so why not endure the other peoples' agony of predicting what'll happen, etc.
Once the seventh book is out and someone starts talking about it, I'll yell at them or LEAVE. MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
...and that's all I've got to say...

I always go at midnight to get the HP books. I usually read it twice. Once quickly and a second time slowly to make sure I didn't miss anything....I can't wait until it comes out. I really wonder why JK waits so LONG inbetween books....

By being in line at midnight when they first start selling them. Then, I will have read the entire book before anyone has a chance to spoil the plot for me.

I don't mind. I sometimes like knowing the spoilers, just so if something bad happens...I'm ready.
