Okay, so here's the story, it's gonna sound ridiculous but it's the truth and i can't think of a better way to explain it than by telling the story.
So I was sitting in class today, and it was completely boring, anthropology stuff, I don't know, but I was just kinda dozing off, and I swear the teacher asked a question that I knew the answer to, so I raised my hand and answered it. Then my teacher became confused by what I had said. She said she hadn't asked a question. I swear to you though, she asked who had written the essay on Population, and I said "Malthus".
This became even more confusing, because she told me that was what she was going to ask the class. Now I thought this could have been a coincidence, but then I just sat there, and I could hear the guy sitting next to me going over his birthday list. I kept looking over at him, but his mouth wasn't moving.
But after class, I asked him about his birthday list, and he was completely freaked out that I knew. Help me!

Telekinesis. Maybe you can read minds. Better hope not, some people think things you don't wanna hear...

I'm sorry to say this, but on principle my first guess would be that you're lying.

If you're NOT lying, then you certainly do have a problem. However, one thing you can be sure of is that you are not telling the future; that would be a physical impossibility (and if you can do it, you have an opportunity to change human civilization forever, so go find some scientists quick). I suspect that your problem is rather a memory problem, sort of like deja vu, or the opposite of amnesia. You experience things and your brain puts them into your memory so you think they happened before. In other words, you didn't know about the birthday list AT THE TIME, you just think you did now.

At any rate, I would get psychological help as soon as you reasonably can. There's a good chance they'll be able to do something about your problem.

But of course, you already knew I was going to say that, didn't you? Dang, just wasted one my day's answers... :P

Actually, that brings up a good point. You could test your 'ability' right here on Yahoo, in fact I'd be quite interested to see such a test done. I'm not a believer in psionics, but I am ready to know the truth, whatever it is.

I write fantasy stories about those kinds of things. Makes for fascinating fiction, especially if you're a Disney fan.

Okay, I don't know what happened, but maybe you were more aware of what's going on in class than you thought? Some people are just like that. The birthday list though, I can't explain at all, that was just unique.

Are you sure about all this? Coz I don't want to believe it if you're a schizo or something, LOL. I think you're playing. Hope you don't believe this happened for real....

I don't know what's going on but I have a similar story....

At a car expo (which I didn't want to go to at all...) they were having a drawing where you could win a new car each hour. I entered my little slip and the drawing was a few hours later. I happened to be near the booth when they were making the next drawing and suddenly my head started shaking...much like it was a gong that was struck...and I was trying to figure out what the hell just happened to me!...and after about a minute I had the strongest thought that "I won!" and I decided I had to tell someone...so I told my friend..."I don't know what but I am so certain that I'm going to win and I don't know why but just let me tell you that..."

....and a few minutes later they made the drawing and I did indeed win!...

...a keychain.

I was 16/17 and nothing even remotely like that ever happened to me again.

There is nothing wrong with you.... you are simply cognitively aware of an empathic process active in everyone, but normally closed to most people.

Each of us has what I refer to as an Apapsyche [Operational Energy of the Soul] and the Attn Aspect of this Apapsyche has the capacity to shift into any of the three realms of which the human being is composed. It can do this instantly, and it does it by adopting the vibrational energy of the realm into which it is entering.

Your Attn Aspect of Apapsyche is shifting into your MIND realm, and you are aware of what is within anothers MIND realm. This is certainly unusual, but not unknown. You mention "kinda dozing off", this is your conscious awareness being aware of your Attn Aspect shifting into your MIND realm. While there, your MIND is tapping into the MIND-level processing of thoughts by those mentioned.

It is a gift, of sorts, for you to acknowledge that this process exists within yourself. It may or may not continue. But please try and refrain from seeking "professional" help unless you are sure that such help is not non-consciously afraid of what you are experiencing. OK?
Peace

I read this book called the Einstein Factor that is supposed to help you use more of your brain. One thing is to remember your dreams, as often they are your brain doing deep thinking while you are asleep. If this continues though. I would see a shrink, as I'm not one.
