Why do some people feel they have to comment on a belly? I could have a tumour! Or anything else about your physical appearance for that matter. I also have a dark skin blotch that is uncoverable yet I continually get "good intentioned" folks telling me that I should blend my makeup! I rarely wear foundation. No makeup in the world will cover it and don't you think at this stage in my life I know how to put on makeup properly?

My mom did it. At a store, she asked some woman when she was due. Umm..the woman wasn't pregnant. But she was pretty mad. I got kind of the same thing when I WAS pregnant...people telling me I was getting fat or whatever. Sometimes people lack social skills. They probably only want to start a conversation, but they're socially inept.

I had a person tell me I shouldn't let myself go. I told her I thought I looked pretty good for being six months pregnant. I was and she was embarassed and hopefully didn't make assumptions again.
