A lot of B vitamins which are usually in the prenatal vitamins will make it a brighter yellow, but if it is darker you are definitely dehydrated. You MUST drink at least 2 liters/2 quarts of water per day, and it is better when pregnant if you drink 3 or 4 (yes I realize 4 is a gallon). You have an extra person in your body so your body has to eliminate double the amount of waste materials as usual. Yes I know the baby is tiny - but it is growing rapidly - think of a construction site where they are building a house and how much more trash is generated there than a normal house. Same thing. "Building" a body creates a tremendous amount of waste, you need to flush it out better. It is not good for your or the baby's health to allow it to build up like that. Plus think about it, it is just an icky thought.

Your prenatal vitamins can affect the color of your urine. If you are drinking the right amount of fluid for being pregnant and it is darker then it is more than likey your vitamins. If it concerns you be sure to ask your OB/GYN about it. I use to keep a pad with a list of questions that would come up during the month and ask her at my monthly visit.

Have a happy and healhty 9 months!

If you are taking prenatal vitamins and you are not drinking LOTS of water, yes, your pee will be dark, THAT IS NOT GOOD, the solution is to drink more water, actually if you get the vitamins by prescription it will have a label that says take vitamins with plenty of water!! If you are not taking prenatal vitamins and you are pregnant it can be a kidney problem because you are dehydrated, and the solution to that problem is to drink LOTS OF WATER 80oz a day!! Remember that your baby is living of it, the amniotic fluid feeds from the amounts of water that you drink, quit the sodas and juices, and drink lots of water.

I don't know specifically about being pregnant, but it is a possible sign that you are dehydrated. Try drinking more water, may be 2 or 3 pints a day. Most of us do not drink enough at all. Your urine should be a pale straw colour.

Mainly in the morning if you were not up all night peeing. It is also from the vitamins. My urine is sometimes an almost unnatural shade of yellow almost like mountain dew. Just keep on dringking that water too.

You definitely need to drink more water. Sure your pee is darker when you start taking vitamins too, but after awhile if you're drinking enough water, it be lighter. Are you drinking a lot of soda? That'll make your pee darker too. I think you should ask your doctor.

Are you asking if your pee is darker when your pregnant? I'm not exactly sure what your asking.
If your pee is darker in color then you need to drink a whole lot more water. IF your asking something else, try to ask it again with more information.

Not usually. Darker colored urine is most commonly a sign that you're not drinking enough fluids, so be sure and get enough water and other non-caffeinated beverages each day.

No. You need to drink more. When you're prego you need more fluids for you and your baby. Your amniotic fluid is replaced every 3 hours. Drink, Drink and then Drink some more.
