Does the 1994 Toyota MR2 get up to 40 miles to the gallon? I went to Kelly blue Book.com and it said that it only got 23mpg, does it or does it not? This is gonna decide wether I get it or not

Nope. Where did you get the 40mpg numebr from? I suppose it's possible if it's been modified beyond belief though.

40 mpg is like a hybrid. A MR2 should get it in the 20s.

Hybrids are lucky to average 40-42 MPG. Not going to happen with a MR 2.

KBB is more accurate. The MR2 was not designed as an economy car. It's a compact sports car - the performance and mileage support it.

hwy it gets around 30 but i have never heard of a 94 model getting 40

No way! You will be lucky to get 16. Don't buy it if milage is your concern.
