I found that if you put duct tape all over a flyswatter, it lasts a long time...I have one with a metal handle that I've had for 5 years all because I reinforced it....I call it "Death from Above"...

I hate them too! They are nasty! You want to know what worke for my back patio.. Go to home depot .. in the garden section there are fly traps.. get the one that you fill with water and it kinda looks like a jar! You will be AMAZED and how many it traps and kills.. way more than tape!

I despise flies too, and lately it seems like they're multiplying faster than I can kill 'em. I understand a flies life span is only something like three days. Just once I'd like to see one crawling up the wall, stop, clutch its chest, and fall over dead.

Hey that's very interesting. I didn't know that. I do seem to wear fly swatters real fast. I hate flies. I've had a couple bite me and they hurt.
