Hi. I am going to be wearing an outfit to an imformal office of white pants, a denim blazer, and a shirt. I need to know what color the shirt should be. Then I will pick shoes that will go with the new color. My eyes are blue-gray but I do not like the look of a blue shirt under a denim blazer. My hair is naturally light brown/dark blonde (think dirty blonde) but I just had blonde highlights put in. My skin, according to my foundation is creamy natural, a light with hints of beige color. What color do you think will look nice for my shirt? If you need more details, please ask in your answer and I will type it here.

P.S. No rude, inappropriate, or silly answers. I will report. Remember, 10 points for best answer!

There are soo many colors that would look good but my three favorite are

-a soft baby pink
-a deep forrest green
-a chocolate brown

First off according to the fashion rules no white after labor day. It could be that the light of the pants with the dark blue of the blazer just won't work together with any color shirt. I would try a different pant color if you want to wear the denim blazer. I have had this problem before and even after trying every color under the rainbow it still looked bad. Good Luck!

The white pants are not a good idea but if it has to be white then a nice red shirt would look good or even a light sweater in black or cream and forget the blazer. With your coloring a tan always looks nice and neat. Black and white are classic, very classy.
The denim throws everything off because you have all your color on the upper half of your body and you look top heavy. When you wear white pants you have to wear a sandal or casual wedge, but if you wear denim jeans then you could wear any color shirt or light sweater with a nice pair of heels. To me that is a sexy look.

The outfit doesn't sound right to me. I wouldn't wear the white pants this time of year and I wouldn't wear the denim blazer with white pants. Do you have dark pants that would work with this blazer? You don't like blue shirts with the blazer, what color blue have you tried? Is the denim blazer the color of blue jeans? As far as a color that would look sharp on you I instantly thought red.

Medium brown would do the trick. It will not be too overbearing and probably go nice with some brown shoes. Maybe a two tone brown shoe would look good. Don't go to chocolate with the shirt, but not light tan either.

black, but I would suggest not wearing white pants. Ever heard the rule? I know some people say it doesn't apply, bit I think it does.
