It's a lie. How would a person know that unless they dreamed of something red themselves? But then if they did dream something red they'd be dead before they could tell people that if you dream red you die. So see, it's just a stupid lie.

it depends on what you believe in. The human mind is a very complex thing as you know. You see, i have dreamt of red for years and i am well alive. You see, every person you wil ever meet will have a different psychological point of view and superstitions to match. Now being a college teacher you may find it resonable to belive it. But dont let that be the case. Red, while it may be the official sign of blood and passing, does not really 'mean' death in its presence. Need a more illaberate answer? More details? PLease feel free to contact me and i will get back to you immediately.

That is actually true, and it has been proven in several instances. But the truth is if you have a dream of something blue, green, brown, black, white....any color in the world you will die. Now don't get me wrong you are not going to die because you dreamed in color. You are going to die because eventually everyone dies. And I'm pretty sure that a good deal of people that have died have dreamt of some color in their life.

You should let us all know where that 'college teacher' teaches so we know not to waste our money there.

You mean die as in soon or die as in eventually?
I don't believe this is true, I dream of red things all the time. Been dreaming about them for years, but I'm still here.

No, it's not true. Dreaming about something is only your subconscious trying to work through any given issues you might be having. You shouldn't worry about superstitions, instead...investigate by introspection & figure out what the color red represents to you, and then you'll be able to put it in context with the rest of the dream elements. Amazingly, you might learn more about yourself by doing so.

No it is not true. What you dream doesn't predict your future. I dreamed of something red many years ago and I'm still here. I think your teacher is pulling your leg.

No. Dreams cannot predict the future. The mind expresses itself while we are asleep through dreaming, so it's likely that any strong dream symbols have some significance in what is currently going on in your life.

Yes. Eventually!

No.

Dreams are "farts" of the brain. It is commonly accepted that they are, effectively, no means of prediction.

I believe that the reason that they seem to have to do with significant events in our lives is because they are in some-way influenced by our perceptions and thoughts while awake. Often we recognize patterns and consider them "profound" or extremely unlikely, when in reality, there are so many different combinations of unlikely events that one of them is bound to occur sometime. It's a matter of suggestibility and misjudgment of probabilities.

yeah, you may die in about 70 years, and if you dream of red twice or more you will most certainly die within 140 years.
