i can't open my emails everytime says unknown file why?

Open up my computer go to tools and then click on folder options. If you don't have the extension of the file listed there, it has no way of knowing what to open the file with.

Dependant on what email program you are using you may need to re install the application to get it running correctly.

Eh? more info needed.

Do you use a program to read your emails, like Outlook or Outlook Express?
Or do you use web based email like Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail etc?
