Have you seen the price of glass lately?
Plus, you are "in" the glass house so the shards of glass are going to cut you.
This is like the thought that people should not rock a boat they are sitting in at the time. It could sink the boat and drown the person.

Because it would break the glass ultimately destroying the whole house's exterior meaning high credit card debt to get it fixed.
