It's an american owned company, but my friends and I had fun calling it Tarshay, until the allowed their pharmacists to enforce their religious beliefs on their customers.

without france, america would have lost its revolution, so I really don't get the french bashing. or do some of us just not like people who have their own opinion? or do some of us just not like it when other countries don't go along with a war proposal based on lies that the lying, mass-murdering, theiving gangster in our white house?

No, it was founded in the United States. And to reply to other comments you guys don't know what you are talking about...

"Yes. they don't allow solicitations and such to support our troops did you know that?"

That comment is true that they do not allow soliciations, they don't allow the salvation army to ring their bells and collect money during the holidays. The truth is they don't allow ANY group to solicit on their property because they do not want their customers to be bothered while shopping at their stores. They do however make donations to the United Way and other charities. By the way Salvation Army is a subsidy of the United Way, so Target is given money to organizations that support the military. Target is known to be one of the highest (dollar amount) contributors to charity org's.

And if one of their pharmacist does not want to dispense an emergency contraceptive they don't have to, as long as they can refer them to another pharmacist in a reasonable amount of time. I don't see a problem with that, it would be the same as forcing a pro life doctor to perform an abortion, they have the right to refuse.

By the way I do not work for Target and rarely shop there, it just irritates me te see so many people not knowing what they are talking about.

Target is an American-owned publically-held corporation.

And Cassandra is a good American, with an uncommon amount of common sense!

Yes and I do not shop there as they do not support or help our troops I have not been in a target store only one time and I will never go again!

That rumor probably comes from the joking pronunciation of Target as Tar-jay, kidding around to sound "high class"

No, the stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. That rumor has been flying around since almost forever. Maybe Ben Franklin started it.
