Some people need counseling to get over their phobias. Just keep in mind that you are bigger than the spider and it has no power over you.

Face your fear that's how. Go out and buy a spider and face your fear. If your really brave just pick the spider up right away other wise work your way up too it.
It really works too. I used to be afraid of snakes, then my step brother bought one and finally got me to hold it. I no longer fear snakes.

Someone taught you to be scared of spiders. It is a learned thing. Just try and change you mind...Try to learn more about spiders...on the net, books, study, and you will see that they are very helpful to have around! They kill other bugs! I like them and never kill them. I pick them up with a napkin and throw them outside!

Get someone you trust (obviously someone who isn't afraid of them) to be with you then just tackle youe phobie head on. Most spiders are tiny and harmless, there more scared of you than you are of them!

You have to train yourself to not be scared of it. Maybe go to a pet store and hold one of the big ones. Its all in your head, but trust me, I know the feeling, I hate spiders too.

probably spend time with the fear. my fear is people throwing up. a very scary thought to cure me would be to see someone throw up or assist in it (hold hair, hold bucket). once you can hold a spider you'r eprobably cured.

Usually you have to face your fear a little at a time to realize that there is no apparent danger.
