I prefer the series. I have loved it ever since I was 13 and I am 38 now. John Schneider is still my favorite actor. But I like the movie too.

I prefer the series way more. I thought the movie was a terrible attempt at remaking the shows. They really messed up some of characters too. Getting willie nelson to play uncle jesse ? C'Mon people you could've cast someone better than that! I also thought all the sexual humor was ridiculous ....the series never had anything like that in it. It was actually a family show! I love the actors from the series, in the movie many of the characters were not well represented. So yes, I think the series is waaayy better!

I hated the movie because Bo and Luke duke were always fighting. The series was better then the movie, but I hated that show. Didn't know why they created a movie.

the series was better, the Movie should have been titled.
" Dude where's my bright orange car."

They should have either been more true to the series or let Broken Lizard have free run of the production.

Boss was too mean, Roscoe was too smart, Enos was too slow.
Bo was too car happy, Luke was to much of a himbo. and Daisy almost came off as mean to Enos where in the show you actually felt like Enos at least had half a chance of hooking up with her.

The series because I loved it as a kid. The movie was alright if you didn't compare the two. The movie was more done for comic relief than the series.

Definitely the series. It was fun. The movie just made them look like and sound (please tell Jessica not to fake a southern accent again!) like complete idiots! The characters in the series all enjoyed their parts which showed. The movie... well, let's just say that it seemed like the only thing they cared about was their well inflated egos and paychecks!

If you never saw the seriesthe movie is o.k. but if you have to compare the two then the series will win big time.
