It is a muffler that is packed with fiberglas. You replace your regular muffler with it. They are fairly cheap. Not sure of the price. They gradually get louder as the fiberglas burns out.

Just a type of muffler that allows more sound to be released from the tail pipe. They are also called Cherry bombs.
Yes, it replaces the stock mufflers. Cost is usually around $100 on up depending on where you take it and what type of muffler you install.

It is the least expensive muffler yu can buy. straight through with little silencing. Usually kind of loud. It does replace your old muffler and costs under $50

a glass pack probably wont be a good choice for a car it might make it sound like a bumble bee and yes they do replace your mufflers if u want a different sound try a flow master it also replaces our muffler but it is built different so it would give it a better sound

Cheap muffler, don't put it on your car. They only sound good on older trucks. My old Ford rattles the neighborhood windows and sets off car alarms.

a "glasspack" muffler is pretty loud. It's really cheap and if you want to install one then yes you have to take your stock muffler off. It won't be quite as loud with your converter though.
